minus-squarew2tpmf@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up9·edit-21 年前The paragraph shown isn’t from Interview with the Vampire. That story isnt told by Lestat. It’s from Queen of the Damned. There was also a movie made from that. It stared Aaliyah and actually came out after her death. Edit: I stand corrected, it’s from the book after QotD.
minus-squareFlying Squid@lemmy.worldOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·1 年前No, it’s from The Vampire Lestat, the second book in the stupid series.
minus-squareGloomy@mander.xyzlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 年前I read the series as far as it went back then when I was a teen and even then I oupd notice the quality diving deeper and deeper with each book
minus-squarew2tpmf@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·edit-21 年前It’s not. David Talbot isn’t introduced until Queen of the Damned Also, The Vampire Lestat starts out in France in the 1700s. In the winter of my twenty-first year, I went out alone on horseback to kill a pack of wolves. This was on my father’s land in the Auvergne in France, and these were the last decades before the French Revolution.

minus-squareCptEnder@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 年前Late 90s early 00s were the wild fuckin west of electronica and awesome cross-genre like r&b and hardcore. The movie is terrible, but in a good way. The soundtrack does indeed slam.
