When the commotion started, Harris smiled at the disrupters and said, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally.”

As the crowd roared, Harris readied the punchline:

“I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street.”

    Ouch.

The crowd erupted again as Harris laughed and waved the protesters goodbye.

I don’t really get going to political rallies at all, but what kind of losers with nothing better to do go to a political rally of your opponent.

They probably showed up expecting a “weak” and “stupid”/“low IQ” Harris fumbling over mindlessly reading the teleprompter to a handful of mentally unwell AI-generated rabid leftists and drag queens and instead got their ass handed to them

If someone by now isn’t concerned about defeating Trump, there’s literally nothing we can do about it other than to call them out for being a shitbag for voting 3rd party.

It must be nice to have the luxury of making a protest vote. They must think their life wouldn’t change either way.

Hey don’t get me wrong I think his decision of voting for a third party is really really really stupid, I don’t think we disagree here.

But the political discourse in the current time is dead, and it’s polarisation that killed it. There can be no healthy democracy in an environment where opponents are not seen as dignified people who you disagree with.

I’m doing my part here to keep democracy alive. This guy is somebody who has ideas I find to be very wrong, but is still a guy like me and you who is doing the best he can like me and you, albeit misguidedly.

I can appreciate that. And it’s exactly how I feel. People seem to have forgotten how to agree to disagree. And like you, I think that’s why the country is so divided.

I have friends of all political flavors. That’s the beauty of democracy!

When there is nothing at stake for you you have the luxury of voting third party. That is essentially a vote for Trump. We know you know this because it’s been explained to you in every post. Must be nice having all that privilege.

The rest of us, in the meantime have to live with the consequences of your decision. As parents, as students saddled with debt, as members of every minority community under attack, as children whose school lunches are being taken away, as children of DACA: a very hearty fuck you from the bottom of our hearts.

I grew up in poverty, I’m biracial, bisexual, poor, uneducated, and my job in public elementary school pays shit–a school by the way, where I deal directly with kids who’s school lunches (and breakfasts!) are an issue.

Oh yeah, plus I’m fucking old and face age-discrimination every day.

Yeah, friend, all this privilege is awesome! Funny tho, I thought privilege would be way more awesome. :/

Did you just list 70% of the issues the Harris campaign wants to get sorted as your own issues, and you still don’t think there’s anything in it for you if they win?

Yeah I’ve heard of their program before :

-All citizens of the state shall be equal as regards rights and obligations.

-The first obligation of every citizen must be to productively work mentally or physically. The activity of individual may not clash with the interests of the whole, but must proceed within the framework of the whole for the benefit for the general good. We demand therefore:

-Abolition of unearned (work and labour) incomes. Breaking of debt (interest)-slavery.

-In consideration of the monstrous sacrifice of life and property that each war demands of the people, personal enrichment due to a war must be regarded as a crime against the nation. Therefore, we demand ruthless confiscation of all war profits.

-We demand nationalization of all businesses which have been up to the present formed into companies (trusts).

-We demand that the profits from wholesale trade shall be shared out.

-We demand an expansion on a large scale of old age welfare.

-We demand the creation of a healthy middle class and its conservation, immediate communalization of the great warehouses and their being leased at low cost to small firms, the utmost consideration of all small firms in contracts with the State, county or municipality.

-We demand a land reform suitable to our needs, provision of a law for the free expropriation of land for the purposes of public utility, abolition of land rent and prevention of all speculation in land.

-We demand struggle without consideration against those whose activity is injurious to the general interest. Common national criminals, usurers, profiteers and so forth are to be punished with death, without consideration of confession or race.

-We demand substitution of a German common law in place of the Roman Law serving a materialistic world-order.

-The state is to be responsible for a fundamental reconstruction of our whole national education program, to enable every capable and industrious German to obtain higher education and subsequently introduction into leading positions. The plans of instruction of all educational institutions are to conform with the experiences of practical life. The comprehension of the concept of the state must be striven for by the school [Staatsbürgerkunde] as early as the beginning of understanding. We demand the education at the expense of the state of outstanding intellectually gifted children of poor parents without consideration of position or profession.

There are only two options based on this statement and calling them out will violate community rules.

Sorry, I know it and everyone else on this platform knows you’re making this up.

If you did vote third party in this election you actively voted for the party that is legislating (and has already succeeded in some states) to remove school lunches. We know you know this.

Now fuck right off with your lies.

I absolutely see both points here. But maybe do both? Like “Are you sure you aren’t supposed to be at the smaller rally across the street but you’re welcome to stay if you really care about the country and want to join the good guys”
