Well, shit. My line up manager had been given the golden handshake. And the new line up manager is my previous boss who is probably the biggest asshole on the planet. soo… yeah I think its time to jump ship. the current direct manager stays the same, and I adore them but I’m just not prepared to work for the asshole again.

WHY are they doing this stuff in november ffs?!

Not the best time to start looking BUT a great time to polish up your CV and such.

Start spamming applications and you might get your foot in early in the new year.

      Good luck!

Yeah but any time working for this prick is a bad time, so nothing ventured nothing gained. Just knowing I plan to leave makes it bearable, even if it takes a few months to land something. plus might be the fun to be a fly on the wall and watch shit go down. “manager” has no business managing. Be that his small team or half the damn department.

The leave relaxation has kicked in. Goodbye work, hello good times!!!

Im so fucking excited to get the car on Saturday. Maaaaaaan I think I’ll drive all night lol

Edit: sorted free entry and $350 of free drink cards at 3 clubs 😂 fuck yeah!

If you google “birthday specials” you’ll see a bunch of clubs that offer stuff for free on your birthday.

Even fluffy is getting in on the action:

Due to popular demand I went out for groceries and petrol today.

    Finally back home and settled.

Everything took so much longer today due to the massive traffic accident on the Nepean highway being blocked in 3 lanes.

Entry to car park of shopping centre was closed and escalator was borked.

Was too tired so I didn’t get to look at some stuff I wanted to and I didn’t get the potatoes. I’ll get them next week.

Anyway glad to be safely home with all the stuff happening and got my pakidge!

Getting home definitely feels so much more of a relief when you’ve had a shitty drive - time to kick back and relax and enjoy your long weekend now :)

        Thank you.

You’ve also done such an amazing job with packing up for your move.

You deserve some rest and dinner as well!

Just cooking up some of those green leafy vegetables.

I’m not even sure what they are but they’re used in Asian dishes and have like little yellow flower spouts?

WHEW. I am tuckered. The house is starting to look a lot emptier, though!

    Today's tasks were...
    • uni meeting online
    • misc admin (the REA still hasn’t arranged what time I’ll pick up the keys tomorrow… truly useless)
    • Packing stationery
    • Dismantling the bed frame and vacuuming so much dust underneath
    • Filling in the holes from the blinds now removed (mostly my friend did it…)
    • Dismantling the bookshelf
    • Consolidated op shop clothes, books and shoes (which my friend generously dropped off)
    • put the clothes and shoes to throw out in the bin
    • MOVED OUT ALL MY OUTDOOR PLANTS (except for two heavy planter boxes) ;_;

Swung by MKS on my way back to treat myself to some takeaway curries for dinner.

Now my next big task is the kitchen items… need to juggle this against the timing of unplugging my fridge on Sun am.

That’s enough for today though I think. I’m proud of myself and endlessly grateful to my friend.

Yeah I pushed myself to pack up my monitors and other wfh items to try and get that big messy area out of the way.

I won’t have everything done by the time another friend comes over on Saturday to help with the main move, but at least that stuff can go.

Now I’m really done for the day! 😪

My strawberries were thriving on being forgotten - I had some self-seeded lettuce going to seed in the tubs they are in, plus a radish going to seed flopping over from the garden next to them. Apparently that’s the way they like it because they have been quietly fruiting underneath all that. I’ve cleaned up the area a bit and put some mesh over the top of them, hopefully they won’t decide that’s too much attention.

I’ve also got some raspberries ripening. They are a bit of a pain because they ripen one at a time on each stem, and I have to cover each stem with a bag to keep the birds off. So every day I have to remove and replace a bunch of bags to get a small handful of raspberries. When I move I will definitely be investing in a proper cage so I can cover the whole plant.

2-3 years until the viruses build up and kill them. They winter over just fine if you mulch them, or let Mother Nature do the mulching. Also, by the end of 2 years, all the local slugs & snails have them logged on their google maps so fruit quantity drops off dramatically unless you feel like being snailicidal.

First time I saw that flash animation, I was 12 or 13 and had found ebaumsworld. That was the site that entertained me before Google was around to collate everything into a search list or whatever.

I watched that bloody animation on repeat cackling like a hyena 😂

Ha, I was waiting for someone to say it! Missiles slowly being loaded now.

And I’d normally be very supportive of chips for dinner but somehow my gut didn’t like it - cramps, burping and farting like a MF. Also super dehydrated. All good now though.

Apologies I’m not on here frequently enough to see everything, but have you spoken to your GP and this is an ongoing issue or is it defo a virus? Pantoprazole changed my life. Obviously speak to a GP first.

Pulled the longest hair out of my shoulder. Blonde, curly, and about 6cm in length. Sadly did not have a matching one on the other shoulder, so it had to go.

Edit: ::: spoiler stardew valley stuff oh also, I’ve been playing stardew valley on mobile, and it plays really well!! There’s a few options for controller, but I went with the visible joystick and buttons. But yeah, it’s a great game, and I know I’m late to the party (patient gamers anyone lol), but it’s so fun! I’ve been super casual, I occasionally look something up but haven’t spoiled myself with its depth (because I know it’s a deep game). :::

Mental health wise I’ve been in real crisis for the past couple of weeks but I seem to have come back from the brink somewhat.

Is it weird that I don’t remember large chunks (think years) of my childhood?

Glad to see you back 💜 I noticed your absence but wondered if you were just lurking 💜

I'ma place this under a spoiler just in case

I also am missing a lot from my childhood, but that’s the cptsd. Trauma tends to cause a repression, though I assume you know this. Please don’t take me saying this, as telling you what’s up. That’s just my experience.

Also, I do think some memories do fade naturally anyway, especially as we age.

I hope things take a turn for the better for you WS 💜

Most people forget childhood memories. Having photos can trigger memories. Also, if you’re a smoker I’ve found it dulls childhood memory. When I quit and get my sense of smell back it triggers memories. Early life memories are strongly linked to smell.
