Some breaking news

Too early to tell the cause. Of course they’re already blaming Russia lol

I’m not sure what motive Russia would have to target this particular cable. Any ideas or is it scapegoat time?

    lmaooooo

In his view, Russia might have such a motive, for example.

“They really seem to think that they have a special right to do such things. The motive for sabotage is usually that it’s done because it can be done,” he added.

“the motive for sabotage is usually just because they felt like it, which of course applies strongly to RUSSIA”

Rachel Maddow is mild compared to the average Finnish news outlet

I see Putin’s face every single day on newsstands in groceries and cafes. He’s basically the Trump of Finland

Russia is a 1990’s Hollywood action movie villain who is plotting against the heroic western self-insert for no other reason than their love for chaos.

Maybe the evil Russians did it. Or maybe Germany and Finland have been so fixated on ramping up their military spending that they failed to budget for domestic infrastructure maintenance. Who can say?

The important thing to remember is that Russia is ontologically evil and therefore anything bad that happens isn’t our fault.

The media has been whining about more military spending and mandatory military service, that people have to accept cuts because they need to be mindful about their “security” and that germany has a duty towards its “allies”. So yeah your analysis is the truth.

  • Ah, another consent building exercise.

All this is so far beyond ridiculous now that I really struglle to understand how so many seem to be so on board with this. Then again for the Whites all this is like their lifelong heroic battle dreams and hate of all things Russia becoming a reality.

Headlines like this are why. Just a giant echo chamber of “We’re under attack! We’re under attack!” getting louder and louder until its the only thing people hear. How do you not get on board with resisting the eternal siege of Evil Empires who are behind every conceivable bad thing happening inside your country’s borders? Fighting Russia and China and Iran and <Evil Country To Be Named Later> becomes a panacea. It will cure every ill, because they are the but-for cause of every harm. Only by defeating these evils can Europe reach a Utopian state of existence.

Last time chuds were foaming at the mouth to start bombing St. Petersburg over a gas pipeline, then it turned out Russia had nothing to with it.

manhattan I’m sure this time they’ll prove Putlermort was behind it.

Gonna need literally any evidence at all. Come on… Cable breaks happen all the time. We have 24/7 repair teams working every single day on undersea cables to keep them running because they’re constantly damaged and broken.

Zero evidence presented. There’s absolutely no reason to jump to the conclusion that it’s sabotage without evidence.

Cinia said that a repair vessel is prepared to go to the site, and that the repair efforts have been started. The firm said it does not yet know how long it will take to fix the link, but adds that repair time for submarine cables is typically 5-15 days.

Ah yes the feared Russian retaliation to warn us about WW3 and definitely deserves to get them nuked in response.

Something that can be fixed by Friday.

You think they are going to do an actually harmful mass casualty false flag right before Trump takes office? .

It seems like they’re lashing out and tossing everything to antagonize and force a situation. Like they’re in the bargaining phase of grief. Ok fine we can’t jail the cheeto, but can we force him to keep the bombs flowing?
