        Well, admittedly I imagined that developing game night when everyone has already tuned in, but you’re right that that’s not necessarily the case. Still, the parties at home are already planned and at that point you might as well have the game on anyway because those who really care about football will want their last fix anyway

        I mean, wouldn’t the game not happening be such a big deal that even people who aren’t normally interested would tune in just to see all the drama? I never watched it, but if such a protest happened I would likely be interested to see that.

      Yeah, but people tune into the game to watch the best players in the game that season. Backups playing against backups would be horrible (though prob funny to watch).

      However, they’d kind of be scabs in that case, and fuck scabs.

      Most of these players are probably of the “I got mine” mindset. They’re not going to blow that up for ethics
