I’ll never be able to take anyone serious who uses the word woke seriously. It’s pretty good, because you can instantly tell who is a pos online, but overall it’s just too annoying. YouTube comments are bad enough as they are, but it’s really hard to look at anything video games related. This game sucks because it’s woke, wokeness ruins video games. Finally a game that is not woke. I just wonder where these good video games are, made by anti woke rightwingers.

Good games tend to be made by creativity, and conservative “anti-woke” people don’t exactly tend to be creative

It kinda goes without saying that being able to think outside the box also comes along with being able to put yourself in other’s shoes and empathize, huh?

I wish we could go back to the days when we got to see drawings and read the accounts of him just straight up passing out in court, and his lawyers doing everything they could to keep him awake. The best was giving him a pile of useless papers to riffle through like he was 3 and you just needed him to be quiet while on the call with your boss.

Anything that helps people who aren’t wealthy is woke. Anything that helps the wealthy and/or powerful is not woke.

King Trump earlobe nibbler Ted Cruz has been whining ever since the infrastructure bill was passed about how these kinds of common sense provisions are “woke"

    Lol

To be honest, we know the ISPs will find a way to waste all of those billions again like they have time and time before. They dump most of the finances into marketing to try and hype people that there will be affordable internet in their area for years, they don’t deliver and then when the funds dry up, they beg for more.

From the article, there were some requirements to try to avoid that waste:

“ Like demanding ISPs provide at least one tier of service poor people could afford. Or encouraging networks built with taxpayer money be open access, which, as we’ve discussed at length, helps boost broadband competition and lower costs. As well as encouragement that taxpayer money be spent on the most future-proof technology (fiber) where applicable. Pretty common sense stuff. “

I presume funding or continued funding was contingent on these sorts of things, which is probably why they (republicans, corporate class ISPs, etc) didn’t like it.

without access to affordable high speed internet for the maga nuts in the cult, his populist base doesn’t spread…

and instead, we’d be in that singular timeline where we’re now one month into a tim kaine 1st term.

They are often vocal in person. It’s not as effective a means of spreading, but it works.

Not when no one else is cooped up at home online.

Public humiliation is tried and true. Shit, bring back the tar and feathers for our public nuisances.
