Yes, but in Turkey? Musk is usually motivated by personal gain and approval seeking so I’m not sure how Erdogan fits into this. Yes, he’s a right wing autocrat, like almost everyone else in the area. I guess it was just a matter of remaining compliant with local laws / authorities because they have shown they can disconnect Twitter when they want.
Musk doesn’t even have a stake in this, he does this because he can and he’s unaccountable.
