Change toothpaste tabs. It took a few times to get used to it but now I don’t ever want to go back to tubes.

They’re great. You take a tab, chew it until it becomes a paste, wet your toothbrush and brush. It lasts longer than toothpaste tubes in my experience.

I could stretch a toothpaste tube out for about three months if I brushed regularly for a little bit more than I could for how much a single month costs of the tabs. It took me a few days to decide I was not going back to tubes though.

Do you have a link? I tried a couple of Canadian brands but meh. The only ones I really like are from Lush.

Recently bought a composting toilet, the Thinktank, which is not only the only canadian made (in Victoria BC) waterless toilet but one of the best designs and quality.

One of the hardest things to find was deodorant. Imperium was really good with a 100% recyclable container made of cardboard. Routine brand is also really good, but expensive as hell (36$ for one tube, yikes!) and uses plastics in its container.

In Québec we have a few companies that make sauces. Like mayo, ketchup, etc. A couple of brands I really like are Canada Sauces, Mag and Firebarn’s. They’re all amazing! There’s also La pimenterie that does incredible hot sauces, which were featured on Hot Ones.
