Trump said: “We have thousands of stories talking about it,” then ordered his staff: “Turn the lights down and just put this on.”
Sitting next to Trump before the fireplace, Ramaphosa forced a smile and turned to look at a big TV screen as Trump’s South Africa-born billionaire ally Elon Musk, JD Vance, the defence secretary Pete Hegseth and diplomats and journalists from both countries looked on.
The video included footage of former South African president Jacob Zuma and firebrand opposition politician Julius Malema singing an apartheid-era struggle song called “Kill the Boer”, which means farmer or Afrikaner, as supporters danced.

That’s cool, I don’t really care about “who posts first” or where they post or anything like that. I appreciate your posts, and it’s always good to keep posting, especially posting outside of the megathreads so more people can see it and with added articles for context, that’s very important.
I just felt like responding with a comment, was too lazy to type out a full comment of everything that happened, so I just posted a link to what I said previously. It’s not about promoting the megathread or saying “I actually posted this first” or anything like that. Yeah the megathread format is annoying and I definitely understand why people don’t use it. However, I mainly post in the megathread as it’s the community that’s been most accepting of the type of content that I’ve posted in the past.
Again, I don’t particularly care about who posts what or at what time or where, and I apologise if it came across that way. Keep doing what you’re doing as long as you enjoy it.
