The shooting incident took place hours after officials said two Israeli Embassy staff members, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, were shot and killed outside D.C.’s Capital Jewish Museum.

There is no evidence that the two incidents are linked.

Why the fuck did you bring it up then!?

She was charged with driving while intoxicated in 2021, it sounds like this could have just been a drunk driving incident and she was shot because they were on high alert after the embassy staff shooting. Maybe it was politically motivated, inspired by the earlier shooting but it doesn’t sound like the act of a fully coherent mind.

I was disappointed after realizing the headline was saying she was shot, not the one doing the shooting.

Not surprised. They always on high alert there. You’ve got to go through many layers of security before getting in as a guest including not being allowed to park anywhere nearby. Take a shuttle up. If you drive even mildly out of line nearby you’ll be immediately surrounded by cars coming from places you didn’t see em hiding.

If a drunk driving incident probably the worst place to drive drunk for the driver. If some sort of targeted action… Not at all planned out.
