Why do people always make it seem like Elon has to care about such a small sum as 300 million dollars. He can do that for the next 25 terms and still wouldn’t have spend more than 3% of his net worth. He can do that for the next 4000 years and still have plenty of money left over.
Also spending millions on any politician is very likely gaining him more money than he invests. by a lot.
If I had $300 million I’d spend it on something cool like hiring Werner Herzog to make a movie about my life, or better yet I’d arm every homeless person in America and give them directions to the nearest empty house.

Not sure about that in Elon’s unique case it’s fucked over Tesla completely. However that’s mostly his own doing with his nazi salute more than anything else, I think he’d be doing ok if he didn’t do that.

If you’re arming them why not give them directions to the nearest CEO’s house?
