minus-squareouthouseperilous@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkarrow-up15·edit-21 day agoOh, so who was the guy in digital camo standing next to the grey armored vehicle doing that? Because im pretty sure that wasn’t a cop; he looked like he might’ve actually know how to use his gun. Edit: did not see crayons, but it was a few hours after lunch and there was a pretty nice art supply store nearby.
minus-squareSkyezOpen@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up5·1 day agoCops have camo and rifles. I genuinely don’t think the army has vehicles any color other than green, tan, and woodland camo. Did it look like this?

minus-squareasg101@lemmy.blahaj.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6·1 day agoNational Guard ARE part of the military, they wear U.S. military uniforms and are deployed to U.S. invaded and occupied countries like Iraq.
minus-squareLaLuzDelSol@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 day agoThey are officially civilians, no? I know they can be called up into active service but outside of that…
minus-squareSkyezOpen@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 day agoThey do both. The band “We gargle military balls” made a song about it. Sorry I misremenbered their name.
