We like to point out the delusion that many conservatives experience from living in their right-wing bubbles, but the large number of wealthy Democrats’ non-reaction to the reality of Trump is really enlightening in how many bubbles there are out there.

Robert Reich tends to be well-informed and cogent in his assessments, but him believing that Trump could be ‘doomed’ without either a Luigi-ing or a civil war is pure delusion on his part. I’m sure that in his wealthy circle the reality of ICE and Natl Guard incursions into cities and abductions and disappearances seems less like an occupation and a threat of death, but that’s literally where we’re at right now.

That he thinks that the economy is going to doom Trump is ludicrous. Who’s going to do what to him, exactly? The GOP-controlled congress is never going to 25th Amendment him. The CEOs kissing the ring in the White House aren’t doing it because they think he’ll make them more money, they’re doing it so he’ll give them favored status in not taking away their money.

If you’re making predictions of Trump’s impending “doom”, please give me at least one example in which Trump has lost power or had control of something taken away.
