Like I knew I was the only one home, but had to physically check every room was empty on multiple occasions because it didnt feel like I was alone. That lead to one time I was younger and had snuck out of my room to watch TV at like 3am. I heard something STOMPING hard and fast up the stairs from the basement and then go completely silent once it hit the top of the stairs and didnt hear anything after that.

Definitely creepy. this is what my childhood nightmares were made of.
