I know this is much more of an American thing, where I can think that anti-Roma racism is weird and outdated. But there are things like this where I am shocked that this isn’t a parody post. Like Albanians and Roma aren’t even related, dude! The “Bowtied German” is advocating racism against the second largest victim of the Nazis after Jews.
There’s also no foreign state to chase them out into. Europeans were able to change from centuries of antisemitism to being “OK” with Jewish people in part because they largely succeeded in carrying out the murder or displacement of the Jewish populations in their countries. They, of course, immediately switched to Arabs as a scapegoat for all their problems (and kept Roma as a classic scapegoat too).
