They might skirt around Lenin, Ho Chi Minh, Mao, and other leaders that directly put the theory into practice, maybe on a bad day they teach the Frankfurt School thinkers as an alternative to Eastern Marxism, but usually they do literally get hired to teach a course on Marx or history from a Marxist lens.
