A recent YouGov poll suggests that 88% of Reform voters think we should put immigrants into actual concentration camps. This is the party a third of voters think we should vote for. A third of this country are literally fucking Nazis.

The UK has been shit as long as I’ve been alive but between this and corporate greed (I refuse to call it a “cost of living crisis”) I have never felt as hopeless and disenchanted as I have the past 12 months.

I wish I could leave, but I don’t see where else I can go at this point. The far right are plaguing basically all of Europe. I don’t want to be here when they inevitably start kicking in people’s doors.

Yeah, it’s brutal. I don’t know what to do either. Descartes’ “I think therefore I am” scenario, that a devil may manipulate your every sense preventing you from seeing truth, has come to pass for so many people.

The right wing media has totally captured their minds in an inescapable stream of reactionary hate wherever they look, across the internet on their phones on their tvs on their pcs and over the airwaves on the radio. It’s literal poison. And if you see through it, it’s maddening to watch.

We will have a reform government next - that’s Keir’s entire job remit. Push the country to them. Adopt enough of their policy’s to move the Overton Window over to them, while being unpopular enough to drive voters to the only party that offers a real material change from the Tory/Labour duopoly in Reform (yes, the change will be for the worst but people cannot see that in this landscape). Any alternative is silenced by the media and reform is boosted at every opportunity.

Like I can have conversations with my family, friends, neighbours and coworkers but I cannot match the output of billionaire funded media machines that whisper 24/7 from peoples most trusted confidants (their phones) straight into their minds.

From my point of view as a disabled person, they are worse than nazis. At least the nazis admiited that they wanted to exterminate disabled people and often just gassed them to death quickly. The UK now gaslights the disabled, telling us we aren’t really disabled and there is “some work” we can do, stops our benefits leaving us to starve to death slowly, and blames those who die of this, saying “thERe iS sO MUch HeLP oUt THerE, You sHOuLD hAVe TrieD HarDer To AcCEss IT.” They want us dead and out of the way but are too cowardly to come right out and admit it. I’d rather be quickly killed than this long slow torture.

I am a disabled person on PIP and agree with you completely, while thank fuck mine didn’t get cut completely it has still been massively reduced and has caused me significant stress these past few months.

I am not convinced that either the UK or US can be saved. The Nazi and fascist brainrot is fucking strong.
