    Most of the time I go to target, it’s midday on a weekend and they’ll have 3-7 security guards standing at the doors but only 1-2 cashiers at checkout stands with customers 10+ deep in line

        So, you may or may not know this, but I think it’s still valuable information to have. Target uses facial recognition software to flag and save shoplifting evidence. They won’t stop you until you do it enough that you have shoplifted a felony-amount of goods. THEN they prosecute.

        So just know, Target knows that you’re shoplifting and they’re waiting until they can get you jail time

            I can’t confirm if any other big stores do that, except Walmart. So, if you have Walmart in your province, keep that in mind!

          That’s why Angela Collier jokes that Target is a data company. Even outed a teen as pregnant by sending her coupons before her parents knew. Because they were tracking all her purchases
