Stop making excuses for these people, mostly. They are committing violence and as long as they insist on continuing I don’t see any reason to stop telling them what they are doing, especially when I know they can do better and instead choose not to. If you agree with me, why hold water for them?

If you agree with me, why hold water for them?

Because their overarching point was that people should organize more. You are correct that we should be more cautious and as leftists take the situation seriously when we do on the ground organizing, thank you for that critique and the other information you provided that was definitely good, but we still need to organize the masses in order for us to achieve any of our goals.

I was holding water for the idea that this, as with all mass movements that stir up the working class’s consciousness even slightly, and when contradictions are heightened, this is when we need to take advantage of the swell and meet the workers where they are so we can build them towards where we need them to be, not to let them get sucked into the machine. that’s our job as leftists, we have to build the left into something real etc etc

rereading my initial comment I do see your issue, I complacently accepted as fact that most leftist spaces don’t take enough precautions to keep our disabled comrades safe because that’s been my experience of it (not that I’m happy with it). I’ll try and do better to more militantly advocate against that culture instead of being a liberal and accepting bad things because thats just the way it is

      thanks for checking me
