Ah, well the sex trafficking was ok in that case

  • I don’t think it hurts him. It can hurt the legitimate accusations against him though. If people bundle a rumor, based on misinformation, with real accusations, then it makes dismissing the legit things easier. He can say that the people who want to hurt him are willing to make up rumors about him being gay so the pedophile rumors are also false. MAGAs are willing to drop real accusations of pedophilia so they are willing to drop petty rumors that exist as an attempt to humiliate him. Alex Jones already did.

Stick to the real implications of the emails. They’re pretty damning.

I understand what you’re saying, but this dick sucking rumor is spelled out explicitly in the email. It’s not a completely unfounded rumour. The only real evidence against it I’ve seen people offer is that it seems like a joke, a conclusion reached by trying to read between the lines of shitty boomer communication. It is a joke or isn’t a joke based on an individual’s interpretation, meanwhile what the email says is that trump sucked bill Clinton’s cock. So even if it isn’t true, and I agree it’s a really wild and surreal possibility, I don’t really think it’s too damaging since based on the current evidence it seems like it might be true. True magaheads are gonna deny everything no matter what.

Honestly my reading of it was that he was saying that Trump proverbially sucked Clinton’s dick, like he was sycophantic and deferential towards Clinton. And if that’s my reading of it when I’d rather believe the opposite, manga’s definitely gonna read it that way too.

Maybe, in which case we’re back to where we started. But I think it would be an uphill battle to get most people to read it this way. This still requires reading between the lines, and there’s no clear reason to do this rather than just reading what the email says.
