Leaving is the usual response to bad conditions when there is a lack of consciousness and movements to join. All oppressed people should unite and fight, but actually making that happen means that we need to organize with them, not that they need to have the correct realizations independently of us.
Would be nice, but, unfortunately, a lot of them likely have some kind of liberal individualism influencing their thought process rather than any actual revolutionary understanding. I can be highly skeptical about the possibility of your average people in AmeriKKKa actually moving towards class consciousness.
