I buy my coffee beans from local roasters. While the beans aren’t Canadian, the roasters are, and there are lots of great places across the country!
If I brewed coffee I would consider it.
Brust salted caramel coffee protein drink. Available at Walmart.
I’m also a fan of SimplyProtein bars. Also from Walmart. My favourite is the Peanut Butter Chocolate flavour. These are sold with the granola bars, not by the pharmacy with the protein bars.
I am all for supporting Canadian workers, who work at US stores in Canada, however there are other options than Walmart. I was trying to get away from Walmart prior to the boycott because of their business practices, they take suppliers and rap them over the coals.
Try moving to a Canadian retailer (avoid Loblaws though).
What’s more important? Buying Canadian products or buying at a Canadian store? I am going with Canadian products.
Yes, good point, are oligarchs really Canadian?
It seems like they are more loyal to each other than the regions that their accommodations are in.
Let’s buy local, not loblaws or McCain or Pattison or Thompson, etc., if possible.
Problem is some places there isn’t an option. We have allowed American stores to take over most of our economy.
Not available at Giant Tiger, and afaik Sobeys.
Often, it’s Walmart or do without either due to higher cost or not available at another store.
Sure, but don’t shop at walmart.
Walmart sells more Canadian products than any other grocery store in my town. Even the local coop had almost exclusively US produce all summer.
Don’t tell me. Tell your local coop.
I did. They don’t care
