But I love how Americans online put so much emphasis on my personal choices, rather than collective action, so I spent my growing up years avoiding free lunch at school and feeling good about being disconnected from society, because I am not contributing to harm then, after all.
I guess you could say it was still good in some senses at least? Like I learned what words I’m allowed to use online and I learned a lot about identity politics.
