Russia is so, so far away from the UK and there’s nothing in the UK that Russia doesn’t already have plenty of. Why would they attack a tiny little island a continent away? For what purpose?

If anything, conquering Britain would be a net drain on the conquering country’s resources. Doesn’t Britain have to import half its food? Why would any country want to conquer 21st century Britain? Bomb their airbases so they can’t be the unsinkable aircraft carrier that the US treats them as, sure, why not. But invade? That’s deeply stupid.
