We lost our car, help us not lose our lives, . A Black trans AuDHD person with multiple disabilities & crowdfunder of 6 lost their car after impacted in a hit-and-run October fifteenth. They have NO income -- this loss is a huge issue. Without a car, they are more vulnerable to viral exposures, unable to seek healthcare the hospital advised them to seek, or thrift shop for clothes they lack. They’re severely unprepared for winter, relying on rideshares and deliveries that are far more expensive! This is while they live without even the most basic needs met, malnourished, and owing bills that are below a thousand dollars for the first time in over a year. I continue to try and break this stall on their chuffed. A car is absolutely needed. They;re in the midst of trying to afford $400 bulk stock supply so that raising rent wont be a game of starving & rationing, while ppl with excess get away with wasting resources. It could be done for less, but the delivery fees are exorbitant, an without a car, everything is worse.
