The best part is the next stage of the pattern where the opposition party gets elected and fails to change the ability for a president to launch regime change wars unilaterally. Or make it so ordinary folks have a decent life.

And then we just repeat it every decade or so.

I’m not super sure what “it” refers to, but assuming “it” refers to newly bombing a foreign nation to enact regime change, and not just expanding on or continuing already existing bombing campaigns (which would expand the list to literally every dem president since Eisenhower):

          Obama: Libya

          Clinton: Yugoslavia

          Kennedy: Cuba

          Truman: Korea

But some of these are quite far in the past, which other users have suggested makes them invalid examples somehow. Idk. Not sure what the other poster was referring to, but I think this may have been it.

I didn’t make any such claim regarding popularity, first we’d have to agree on what qualifies as “unpopular”.

Re wars, again, first let’s establish do you mean “declared by congress war” like the official USA propaganda line, or do you believe military strikes are also war (or even acts of war)? What about assassination?

With “acts of war” Democratic presidents routinely commit acts of war along with Republicans, how far can we go back?

if “declared war” is your line, then we haven’t been in a “real war” since Korea, so we’ve been “war free” since 1950s. I think that’s silly personally.

      known pedophile

Or are we going to conveniently ignore that the rumor that Trump sucked Bill’s hog means that Bill was running in those circles too? The reason there’s barely any movement on releasing the files is because it implicates fucking everyone in that socio-economic strata.

That’s why only congress can declare war!
