I’m still waiting for my disability benefit appeal, the last I heard from them they said it would be delayed as they have a backlog. So I still really need help getting food, probably for the next few months, as I have no income. I’ve written before about how difficult it is to access the local food bank. My overdraft is maxxed out, I’m in debt and have no-one else to ask for help. All the agencies who used to offer financial assistance like Macmillan and the local council, no longer do. I can no longer take actual money due to upcoming bank account checks by the UK government.
