Straight relationships are often portrayed as super toxic, because toxic is the “norm” (think “old ball and chain” jokes). Queer media (at least the type I consume) tends to have more healthy representation of romantic relationships. When I see straight couples on TV/movies/whatever being healthy and sweet, I genuinely do think “that’s pretty gay” but in the best way, you know? Gay is compliment and nobody can change my mind.
