Not trying to argue but Im pretty sure Its much easier to get a girlfriend than starting a succesful rockband (even a bad rockband). At least for me I guess
The past, it turns out, was different. It’s not that millions of angsty teens were all able to the really difficult task of starting a rockband. It’s that the environment made starting a rockband easy. An environment that no longer exists.
Yeah it is almost as if every single bar and club needed to have some form of live performed entertainment on a regular basis, and not just once every three months.
Alright, but consider the immense power those fuckers get to wield over groupies. We’ve got streamers now who seem to operate on basically the same motivation.

Don’t have to be any good to still get the “I’m dating/banging the lead singer of a band” badge.
I guess you do get some of the fortune and fame even as a bad indie band but that still seems like a lot of work
