They are not punching down. They are punching up at the richest and most powerful country the world has ever seen which might invade their home soon. Are you really going to spend your time tone policing children from Greenland?

I think the fent lean becoming such a widespread thing America is known for says something about how Americans “take care” of their vulnerable population.

It’s some kids making a video that pokes fun of their would-be conquerors. Yeah it’s distasteful, I agree. It’s also hilarious to start tone policing scared kids facing threats of invasion for insulting those who want to attack them.

I’m with you. I welcome all kinds of resistance, but this one misses the mark for me. Not because of anything being offensive, but because of drug addiction being incredibly sad

          Sadder than being American?

You mean the country with the highest number of immigrants? The one that most of the world’s immigrants want to be part of?

They go together. A lot of Americans are stressed out poor–destitute people just trying to make it to their next paycheck.

That’s why we have weak protests and also why a shithead like Trump lying and saying he’ll fix it, has a chance politically.

The wealth gap is wider than ever, and that’s going to be what finally pushes the country one direction or another. I’d rather that we didn’t have to collapse to reform things, but the billionaires probably aren’t going let reforms that will hurt their number happen.

We’re gonna have to eat the rich, but it’s probably going to cost countless poor people’s lives.

All those school shootings are incredibly sad. Kids deserved none of it. And I don’t only mean death, injuries and trauma for kids who experienced it, but also the “combat” training and fear for kids fortunate enough to only hear about it. And over the years, US did nothing to stop it.

Drug addicts are definitely a much better target for jokes.

Because I can’t understand how the same people can be oversensitive about others mocking their drug addicts and not riot about their kids being regularly shot at.
