personally I’m fine with relatively tame ribbing of the left / portrayal of lefty figures as dweebs or occasionally inept in the context of a movie whose antagonists are unmistakably right-wing white supremacist pervert murderer scumbags.
I feel like that has more to do with the need to map the Freseni stand-in to a realistic character that also allows for the commentary on right-wing racial and humiliation fetish stuff more than anything tbh
