These points are brought up so often as being obviously problematic that it makes me wonder if the new HBO adaptation will attempt to “fix” them in some way.

We find out the slave race loves being slaves in book four I think. Time Turners are destroyed in book five. The play is about “what if the plot was sensible” (erm actually everything is worse then). I haven’t read these since the seventh book came out, but I’m sure there’s more.

They’ll probably justify the caste system i.e. Goblins are ontologically greedy, Elves love being slaves, etc etc
