Critical support on air travel for killing pedo rock stars.
Didn’t know that part about them. Solidarity with comrade plane I guess
I don’t really know, but I assume if a band was big in the 70s/80s, they for sure did some horrendous things to girls and women.
Ugh could you imagine having to listen to Feebird part 2?
Or the follow up to Tuesday’s Gone, It’s Sunday and I’m Getting Ready For the Work Week?
The plane was the right way to go.
I would argue that you should know it’s spelt “Lynyrd Skynyrd.” There are no vowels (unless you count Y as a vowel, in which case it’s the only vowel). Makes it easy to remember.
Anyway, I like Iron Maiden’s approach. Their tour bus is a jumbo jet called Ed Force One and their singer is a licensed pilot, and he flies it globally. It’s a Beoing 747 or something like that. Pretty sure it’s the largest tour bus in the world, stretching the definition of “bus” a little bit.
That being said, considering the community we’re in, I wonder if bands would choose to travel by rail. I imagine they would pack their gear in a shipping container which could be moved from a rented tractor to a train and shipped that way, but it would be limited by where the train goes. Honestly I’d love to see that happen and I’m sure there are bands who would do it. But, they would have to use a traditional vehicle to move the gear from the train to the venue, unless you mean venues would also be connected to the railways. That would be cool, too. In which case they would need a small engine which could pull that cargo container, and it could link up with a longer train for interstate travel. Not a big train guy, but I do like them to an extent, and I’ve heard it said that every good movie has a train in it, or vice-versa, though it’s not meant to be taken as gospel. Only that a train is a good sign in a movie.

Their deaths were the price you pay for freedom. They are martyrs now.
Imagine Sweet Home Alabama with the Freebird lineup
