While i always try to applaud any government trying to positively affect the environment, I really wish they would have used a better method in this case. The vast majority of the trees planted in this project are poplars and willows, which may look impressive now. However, all their efforts will likely not last more than a decade or two. Monoculture Forrest just don’t work., especially in harsh climates.
