“Budget-Chicken’s offending Reddit post was on the r/RioGrandeValley channel. Titled “Join me in protest against ICE,” the post is just a few sentences long, calling on “neighbors, family and community” to “be witnesses and to spread awareness” by protesting a Border Patrol station.”

“The Rio Grande Valley Sector Operations Center issued the following warning to its agents: “It is recommended that all agents wear their ballistic armor, utilize long arms, and if possible, work in groups.””

Seems like they go through an awful lot of effort to justify their own insane overreactions to simple calls for action. They treat everything like an imminent terrorist threat anyway, so why even bother with writing the report? You just end up with millions of analyses detailing people’s Reddit histories. Great use of resources…

Go watch that youtube video by flesh simulator about reddit’s largest userbase coming from the main cyberwarfare division of the US military. The whole thing is a psyop.

When a government is this scared of its citizens, it means that government is totally in the wrong and being fascist as fuck.

I don’t think they are scared. They are emboldened and feeling like they don’t have to be as careful because the American population is completely submissive and disorganized. A scared government would be making concessions and doing damage control to quell an uprising.

I stick with the default assumption of psyop re: all reporting about what the ruling class believes. Corporate media exists to confuse the public. Remember how everyone gave Reagan and Bush Jr infinite leeway because they were perceived as dumb. Neither of them was dumb — Michael Parenti made this point in one of his popular videos about Reagan, that actually Reagan was very competent, just a little slower than he was in his youth.

Anyway the idea that the ruling class is scared is immaterial until proven by their actions.
