I’ll be real brother, it’s also everything outside of the washroom at my workplace that turned me into a bolshevik.
you’re kinda right though, employers immediately lose any micron of my imitation of ‘respect’ if they can’t even provide a comfy and clean shitter
used to be you could just go “hey nice dick, comrade” and boom, one more bolshevik to help destroy the west
[ass-wiping sickos]

This is kinda evidence that Bolshevism is a very natural and human position, and only through a century of anticommunist propaganda has it become fringe and scary to the majority.
I love all you comrades and your attitude to Cold Warriors using “Bolshevik” as an insult… I’m the same. Like, I understand that another Red Scare and another Cold War are very much dangerous social problems we do not want. But, also, when people stuck in the Cold War call me a commie… well, I am one.
I was about five the first time a McCarthyist called me a pinko for some stupid kid stuff. I was ten the first time I was called a Bolshevik, and I just told the guy he was right, and then proudly called myself a Bolshevik going forward. (It was the same guy.) I’m a big fan of archaic political terminology in general, though. I get a kick out of being called things that haven’t been seriously said since the Cold War or since McCarthy. So yeah, calling myself a Bolshevik, or having some crazy Cold Warrior use the term to insult me, is neat. And I love this kind of old Red Scare garbage… A Bolshevik lurking around every blade of grass, you say? Haven’t seen any, I’m afraid… now if you’ll excuse me, this Soviet Bear needs to fix his red fur bows and matching claw varnish…

It’s true, one time there were no paper towels left and now i am a communist. This is why the CIA payed Dyson to invent the airblade hand dryer.

Whats funny to me about this is that it seems to give away that back then, at least companies understood the idea that if you’re not taking care of your laborers, they will eventually hate you enough to rise up.
There was the USSR and domestic leftist groups that believed in true communism, they know workers have no choices now and are nearly entirely cowed to capital and the police state. A disgrunted US worker is more likely to become a mass shooter than an effective Bolshevik, that doesn’t hurt their profits too much, just a form of lay-offs to them.
Denmark had it’s own version of this ad. I usually reference it when I talk to my coworkers as a way to ask “how do you think people become leftist / communist”.
I have this hanging up in my bathroom of my apartment.
Me upon discovering Bolsheviks breeding in the washroom:

National Lead Co.
My grandpa led a unionization drive working at the lead factory, it was so much easier in those days.
