    There were Olympics during WWII. If you aren’t cheating you can compete. It’s always been this way, it’s supposed to be just about the games.

      Except as he explained in the video, Russians who support the war effort are banned as was a Ukranian who had a tribute to kia Ukranians on his helmet. It’s the double standard.

        The ukrainian wasn’t even banned outright. The IOC even offered a lot of concessions, he would have been allowed to wear the helmet before, during the medal ceremony, on the podium, basically everywhere except during the actual run. He disregarded all compromises.

        Russians just got banned.

        Pissraelis can do whatever.

      No, there is supposed to be a truce during the games. And in WWI and II there were consequences:

      The earliest Olympic bans followed World War I, when Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Turkey were excluded from the 1920 Games for their roles in the conflict. Germany’s ban continued through 1924. After World War II, Germany and Japan were again barred from participating in the 1948 Olympics.
