That was well prepared. Lots of criticism crammed into just the time of the run itself and went straight back to sports matters afterwards.

They were allowed because the Olympic Comitee is corrupt as hell and they don’t really give a fuck about war crimes.

The IOC is in french speaking Switzerland so it’s a criticism coming from close to home.

There were Olympics during WWII. If you aren’t cheating you can compete. It’s always been this way, it’s supposed to be just about the games.

Except as he explained in the video, Russians who support the war effort are banned as was a Ukranian who had a tribute to kia Ukranians on his helmet. It’s the double standard.

The ukrainian wasn’t even banned outright. The IOC even offered a lot of concessions, he would have been allowed to wear the helmet before, during the medal ceremony, on the podium, basically everywhere except during the actual run. He disregarded all compromises.

          Russians just got banned.

          Pissraelis can do whatever.

No, there is supposed to be a truce during the games. And in WWI and II there were consequences:

The earliest Olympic bans followed World War I, when Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Turkey were excluded from the 1920 Games for their roles in the conflict. Germany’s ban continued through 1924. After World War II, Germany and Japan were again barred from participating in the 1948 Olympics.

He is the brother of comedian Alex Edelman

Shame, I kinda liked Alex. He seemed to have been a genuinely nice person.

Well the question is also why russians and belorussians are allowed to compete too? They will pose as “neutral” or from other countries, despite the fact that many of them are members of russian military.

Russia is banned AFAIK. They even banned a Ukrainian for putting pictures of Ukrainian soldiers who died in the war on his helmet.

Is that a question with Israel competing? The question has become why Russian soldiers are not allowed to compete using their own flag.

Oligarchs love imperialist money. Countries like Russia, Belarus and Israel all engage in slaughter and cultural erasure but they don’t care.
