You must really hate car batteries, I wonder if you hate electric eels as much.

He does feed the electric eels in his lake with the batteries when he’s finished with his experiments. He actually pulled some out for this video!

i was watching some of this earlier today. 170k amperes or whatever he hit is fuckin’ absurd. absolutely insane levels of current. I didnt get to see what class batteries they were but I was just sort of intellectually curious how many cranking amps the batteries were capable of. I watched most of his video and I likely sound like im being an asshole but I dont care for him for some reason so after a while I just kinda quit watching. I dunno what to make of that.

The current is consistently limited more by the switching and by everything getting pulled out of place by exotic magnetic effects than by the actual capabilities of the batteries themselves.

yeah, i understand that. I did watch the video. like I said, I was just intellectually curious what class size battery he was using.

Breadtube if it didn’t suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It’s open submission unless there’s something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it’s currently in.
