Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu’s father, Arthur Liu, is a successful lawyer with his own practice, Inter-Pacific Law Group Inc., in the Bay Area, after immigrating from China where he was a student activist involved in the Tiananmen Square protests. He is a single father who raised all five of his children, including Alysa, through surrogacy and is also known for his significant financial investment in Alysa’s skating career.
