The East Tennessee Children's Hospital is now known as Dolly Parton Children's Hospital. Hospital officials say the name change, announced Thursday, promises to “transform pediatric care” in the region.
Her name gets slapped on things she believes in. She does the work, and then, poof! I don’t think she made the donation to get her name on it; she just felt it was the right thing to do with her money.
Dolly’s name is already on a lot of stuff in Tennessee. Heck, Dollywood is named after her.
