some vrchat photos because it’s my post and I can do what I want B)

this is where I spent literally all of last night because I pulled an all nighter

I found some cool art and took a photo with it

after laying at the entrance of a club for several hours watching kids/drunks get denied entry and scream about it I found a cardboard cutout and posed with it

Folks who want to support amateur producers and performers, especially those that produce niche stuff. It’s the best way to make sure they can keep making it!

Yeah, I was reading through an old sex blog, and it was sort of difficult to read a post from (as a made up example) 2011 about a very positive group of individuals making a particular type of porn and the blog author suggesting that the reader support the creators if they liked it, then in 2012 the blog author wrote a review saying the creators had really come a long way in their editing and videography and praised them again, and then in 2013 writing a fond farewell note because they had not been financially successful in it. Especially for counter-cultural stuff, where the sex is ‘wholesome’ and the actors are actually eager to be on camera without the drives of rampant commercialism, there were some neat sties around last decade.

hmm… but the first option sounds like- sooooo much more spicy kinda-

where like- the sub doesnt know what’s happening and stuff and like- lime u know? that adds something special… also asking for things is impossible aaaa >o< especially for stuffs like this where ur scared ur fren would be totally against it or disgusted…

also wish VR chat… i really, really tried to make it work for me…

but oh god no. as someone who generally dislikes horny 📯 people and loud crowded areas with people talking I between each other… oh god no. I tried, multiple times (even with multiple headsets, now using an index) and… i couldnt.

Phone sex was awkward enough, but when I randomly got invited to a discord session… I don’t know, it was great to make the other person feel good but the headphones just killed the mood for me.

I would not touch it with a stick, it looks horrifying.

But the Pokemon VR aspect is very tempting.

No, not the fucking r34 one, heck no.

      The other one.

I never understood VRChat. I messed around with it back in the days, because that was one of the things you just did when you got a VR headset, but I always ran into weird little kids and minigames that got boring after 20 minutes.

The whole point is talking to other people. At this point you can start 18 plus lobbies so you don’t have to deal with the children anymore. Most people spend time in game worlds, hangout worlds, and karaoke worlds.

Yes, but just like in real life, how do you find the chill, nice people in a sea of unsupervised children with ADHD, horny teenagers, and people that even I would call weirdo?

if you’re age verified the IMPERIUM group is pretty chill and easy to talk to, only 10-15 people are on at a time

          The answer for me:

          • Liberal use of block button.
          • Going to random worlds with random people all the time.

It took about 2 years to find my group. There were a lot of good memories and fun times along the way, but I eventually found my people.

One day in a random lobby I happened across a group of four or five people. We were chatting and having a good time, and they invited me off to whatever worlds they were going to. They eventually got me into their group of gaming nights and weekly hangouts. Through that group, I met who is now my best friend. She then got me into her group and I have since met a lot of people that are very dear to me.

I have been a part of a lot of groups in the past, but I could never truly call any of them my close friends. Now I have a handful of people that I would do just about anything for.

It’s not easy to meet people on VR chat, but, if you surround yourself with good people, you can eventually find your people.

The way I see it is you either frequent a group or game enough to make familiar faces or you bring some existing friends to hang out with. I play terrors a lot and have been in kid-free social groups like Ancients for about a year and have made a few friends.

I feel like this applies to breaking into any social setting, but I think a big thing you can do is just be somewhere regularly with consistency. It only took a few weeks of joining the most populated terrors instance (which is almost always under the group “fusion pilot fan club”) for the regulars to start recognizing me. Groups like Ancients are great kid-free spaces that aren’t specific to any interest, but there’s a lot of other interest-specific options that would speed up the process if you can find one that aligns with your interests, like clubbing groups, probably tons of board game groups, so many worlds have pool, darts chess, and various card prefabs so that’s very popular - I’m 99% sure there’s some chess meetups, movie watching groups (virtual theaters with spatial surround sound are really cool for this), lots of dancing groups because full body tracking can make that really fun, I’m sure anyone else could list more types of groups than me because I mostly play terrors and join ancients to be able to play a few games with full lobbies and no kids.

Taxi to the bar $15 Drinks $45 Ride back $25

Buying the handle and drinking it for 2 months in VR $45. Being able to mute or block annoying, drunk people priceless.
