I know this has been happening for a while from seeing people talk about it, but it’s still kind of eerie to see your comment get ethered in real time.
It was a short comment, not even inflammatory, just said any support for Israel, genocide, or apartheid is a “disaster” (quoting a response). I don’t even know what keywords got it insta-deleted. I’ve used all the words in comments before.
Anyway, fuck Reddit, y’all.

The most posters at one point were revealed to be out of a NOVA air force base, not the CIA. The head of the internal content moderation team was at one point revealed to be ex-CIA.
Also the easiest social media to manipulate is 4chan.

It is probably the most manipulatable website because of the voting system. It’s so easy to form social feedback loops on.
Most manipulable social media site because it’s the only one that is really a public forum so manipulating the front page/major subs games the whole site while other social media requires influence to reach inside an enormous number of highly varied real world social groups.

e: I may be misremembering the timeline, and that it was a few years after that the subreddit got banned. Either way, she’s blatantly there to ensure broad narrative control in favor of the US.
