Seems my compulsive pedantry has nucleated around this comic today.
Wroth is an adjective. Wrath is a noun. Sure, language isn’t prescriptive, but “wroth” is an archaic term that fell out of favor sometime after the 16th century. Therefore, I feel like the etymology applies, especially in the context of the comic.
Also, that’s a pretty funny comic. Thanks.
I thought it was meant to be seen as unclearly spoken or accent.
Every other word in the comic is spelled correctly and used appropriately in the context of it’s phrase/clause. Having said that, it’s a pretty small sample size, so you could be right.
