The generous sales seem to be just how WB Games does things. Batman, Lord of the Rings, etc. games from them were also like $5 barely a year after they came out.
Steamcharts says peak playerbase was half a million on steam alone at launch. Elden Ring had 950k all-time. I’d say that’s pretty good for a middling open world.

Seeing how well Hogwarts Legacy did even though most people seem to consider it mediocre, I unfortunately believe it will do quite well.
I think, at best, the first couple of episodes will do well, then the viewership will take a nosedive.
