      That text seems kind of funny, like that’s literally what everyone believes though. Liberals will constantly spew shit about “western values” or modern worldview or whatever and it’s always just conveniently the imperial core.

      Campism is an application of lesser of two evils to global power politics: A first-campist or second-campist believes their camp, for all its flaws, is better than its opposition.

      This bit seems incredibly reductive lol.

          It really is just bog standard liberal arguing tactics. The hypothetical of “Would you still support them if they did something completely pointless and evil for no reason?” is a favourite of theirs. They can’t judge them based on their actions because it would reveal their own double standard, so they have to judge them based on them hypothetically being worse. Which is nice and easy because you can always imagine a hypothetical where the enemy team does something worse than your team.
