Just a minor point, but neural pathways are plastic. If you go around being afraid all the time, your amygdala literally grows, taking brain mass from the logical centers of your brain. I’m not saying that they are predisposed to violence anymore than a concert pianist who practices eight hours a day is “predisposed” to playing the piano.
