So, I finally landed a job this month! To celebrate this, I’ll be donating almost all my salary to Palestinian aid as we’ve seen in this community, inspired by other similar donation drives in hexbear. I’ll be matching other users’ donations 100% up to a total sum of 1000€ (not per individual donation obviously, but in total summing all donations). This means that if one person donates 50€, I’ll donate 50€ more to the same fundraiser.
I would like to do it this very week. Please, help me organize this, I think it’s best to have:

A defined timeframe (i.e. to setup a starting and finishing date and time for the donations)

A comprehensive and up-to-date list of donation links to confirmed Palestinian fundraisers as we’ve seen before
-
Possibly pin the post (this or a later one) for added visibility
-
Anything else you can think of!
I’m doing this from an alt account because I don’t want this to be associated to my main hexbear account, mainly from opsec purposes.
Holy shit I was thinking of doing a “matching” thing too, but I can’t do more than 50euros for that offer, unfortunately. Your 1000 is amazing. But I can pick up the total match tab for the first 50 or so?
So maybe its an idea to do a drive first for people promising for the matching in a separate thread or in some specific community? Then the drive with the sum total of match-able funds second?
I’ll post today, but the format is going to be the same as the previous donation drive, i.e. people with bigger amounts for matching contact me and other possible organizers, and the rest of people simply donate to links shown, post proof of donation, and get matched afterwards
