  2. getting kinda anime Wizard of Earthsea vibes but with a girl protagonist who let her curiosity outrun her caution rather than her being kind of a prideful shithead

I feel like they’re probably leaning on AI for some of the animation (some of it just seemed like it’d be too much of a pain to animate or too expensive) but idk I liked all of it nevermind i guess it just looks like that

I already think it’s gonna be #1 slop for me in a anime season that’s already dick deep in slop i like

    Oh fuck is it already out? I lost track of when the season was starting.

    I’ve read several volumes of the manga and it’s a fantastic series, and I’ve been eagerly awaiting this adaptation. The studio doing it previously knocked it out of the park with their adaptation of ZOM 100, another fantastic although very, very different series, and the trailers they released for Witch Hat Atelier looked just as gorgeous as their work on ZOM 100 did.
