Probably stretches the definition of homegrown but Ukrainian nazis tried to get an American Nazi teenager to kill Trump with a drone. He killed his parents first and then got caught on his way to pick up the drone though. Surely the secret service has a protocol for ‘unidentified drone’ in airspace? You’d see it coming a mile away.
